Eligibility Requirements
All Bridges’ students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Students must be between the ages of 11 and 18 and in middle or high school by September 1 of the current calendar year.
- At least one of the student’s parents must agree with Bridges’ statement of faith.
- Both parents must be willing to abide by Bridges’ policies as explained in the Handbook.
Application Requirements
- Meet all eligibility requirements.
- Provide a completed application and a $65/family application fee by April 13, 2010. Registration will be held by appointment through April 12, 2010. Open registration will be held April 13th at the Centreville Community Church from 12:30-3 p.m. Although applications are accepted up until one week before the start of classes, any received after April 13 must include an additional $55/family late fee. All applications received after August 1, 2010, will also be charged a $75 late processing fee. If you need to register after April 13, please e-mail admin.bridges@atlanticbb.net for other arrangements.
- All fees are collected at registration. Fees include a non-refundable registration fee, a per class tuition fee and lab/materials fee if applicable.
- Enrollment is honored on a first-come basis. You will be notified at registration as to whether or not there is a spot available for your child(ren) and whether or not there is an available spot in your desired class(es). Current students are given an opportunity to re-enroll before open enrollment is announced.
Tuition & Fees
Application Fee: $65/family
Late Application Fee: Additional $55/family (For any applications received after April 13)
Late Processing Fee: Additional $75/family (For any applications received after August1, 2010)
MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Full year 1 hour long class, twice per week: $395 (approximately $6 per class hour)
Full year 1-1/2 hour long class, twice per week: $495... A 50% SAVINGS! (approximately $5 per class hour)
HIGH SCHOOL:
Full year 1 hour long class, twice per week: $395 (approximately $6 per class hour)
One semester 1-1/2 hour long class, twice per week: $495 (approximately $10 per class hour)
Lab/Material Fees: Noted in the registration packet if applicable
Discounts
Family Discounts:
If you enroll two children in full day programs, you receive 10% off the total tuition for the second child enrolled (a savings of up to $245!). Each additional child enrolled is entitled to an additional 5% discount off his/her total tuition (a savings of up to $125 for each additional child!). Enrollment in clubs is not necessary to be considered as full time enrollment. Discounts do not apply towards club fees.
A family may choose from the following two payment options:
1. Pay entire year’s tuition at registration.
2. Pay the registration cost and provide four equal checks for tuition (three of which are post-dated). Specifics are in the registration packet (see page 5).
Fees collected are used to cover tutor costs, building expenses, administrative expenses, cleaning, school expenses and other unforeseen operating costs. In order to make payments to tutors, for facilities and to meet other financial commitments, tuition must be paid promptly. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Class Registration
Students may sign up for one or more classes. If there is a lab/material fee or prerequisite, it is noted in the registration packet. Students may drop a class and receive a full refund of class fee if the administrators are notified in writing within seven (7) days of registration. No other refunds will be given unless Bridges cancels the course. Materials and planning are based on registration; a student’s withdraw does not reduce the tutor’s or tutorial’s expenses. The application fee is non-refundable. A minimum of seven students is needed for a class to run.
Re-enrollment
Class list for the next school year will be sent to current students first. Reenrolling students have first choice for next year's classes.
